How to get started
Most people find the system the hardest part. That is the bit we do with you.
Step 1: Call us, or ask us to call you
Tell us what is going on. No cost, no obligation, and you do not need funding approval to talk to us.
Step 2: A Care Partner visits you at home
We sit down with you — and your family if you would like — to work out what would actually make the difference.
Step 3: We help you through the funding
Most people are funded under Support at Home. We help you get ready for the My Aged Care assessment and make sense of the paperwork.
Step 4: Your support starts
We match you with a Care Partner and build a plan around your goals, then review it as things change.

Straight answers to what people ring and ask.
- Do I need to be approved for funding before I call?
- No. Plenty of people ring us before they have spoken to anyone. We will explain how the assessment works and help you get ready for it — and you can also pay privately if you would rather not wait.
- How does the government funding work?
- Support at Home puts services into three groups. Clinical care such as nursing is fully funded. For everything else you pay a means-tested share — 5% to 50% for independence services, 17.5% to 80% for everyday living. The government tells you your exact rate.
- What will it cost me?
- Our full fee schedule is published, service by service, with no hidden charges. What you actually pay depends on your funding classification and your contribution rate. See our fees and funding
